Well, well, well, well, well, well.. that's six wells! Good evening!
I honestly do not even know where to begin. It has been t e n years since I have been on Blogger and my Instagram, Reinovate. I did try what the kids call a "soft launch" about two summers ago with an iPhone photographed swatch, but nothing really stuck.
Everything is so DIFFERENT now. It is all about engagements, algorithms, how influential you are.. Don't get me wrong, some of those things existed a decade ago but as I have eased back into browsing my old hobby, I was surprised to see how much has changed. Like, why are we no longer showing our meaty palms?! I don't have any cute sweaters to pull up all the way to my knuckles! LOL.
While I have plenty of ideas of my own, after being out of the game so long I found myself unable to find where to start again, so I joined a little nail art challenge on Instagram by NBNAILART. Read below about where I have been and see some nails-- of course!
The challenge for FEB 1 was hearts. I went very simple, lol. I decided I was not going to try to spend a lot of time that I don't have, creating an intricate design. The real challenge came on actually painting my nails (which takes all day when you have two kids and a husband, who knew!), taking photos, making sure the length of this post doesn't make a world record. But also, who doesn't love a good play on a french tip!?
I am/was really nervous to post on here and back on Instagram. The nail world is soo saturated now. It probably always has been, it just feels moreso now that I have been gone so long. Thank you for joining me in my corner of the internet. I hope you stick along as I revive an old passion. I have quite a few kinks to work out because believe or not, my camera settings are NOT the same after 10 years and my DIY lightbox is not cutting it hahaha.
