Saturday Swatch Spam! Pt. 1

Hi! Today is the first time I've really sit down and swatched. I haven't shown my picks from Pretty and Polished Adventure Time themed line! Some are from the Algrebraic collection and some from the Mathematical. I was fortunate enough to grab this while they were still up and it looks like she has discontinued them! :( Hopefully Chels brings them back!

Onward to the swatches. All are three thin coats with one coat of Glossy Glam topcoat because I wanted to show you guys a polish, non gritty surface a lot of these glitters can leave!

I'm Not A Banana based of of Jake the Dog. Really nice syrup/jelly type polish. I love glitter jellies.

I still have VNL at three coats so those who are turned off by that may want to layer it over another yellow. I don't mind!

Peebles based off of the Bubblegum Princess. A pretty light magenta/pink base that has orange and pink glitters suspended in them. 

The Young Hero based off of Finn the Human! Cool huh? A sheer white polish with satin like green hex glitters, a long with smaller blue hexes, blue squares, and tiny bright yellow sprinkled throughout.

7 Year Lich based off the character of The Lich. One of my favorites. I've shown it layered over China Glaze Pelican Gray and I love it! It is a flakie polish that reflects dark purple blue and shades of green. So unique. Had to do a little fishing for the black hex and diamond glitters but nothing too serious.

King of C-C-Cool based off of the Ice King. Ok. Definitely my favorite. How spot on is this polish to the character? It's a light blue jelly base white yellow hex glitters, medium and small blue hexes, mini red round glitter throughout... AND DIAMOND GLITTER! That wins it all in my book. You have to do a little fishing for the diamonds but nothing a good shake/roll/storing upside down can't fix!

Ah if I had to pick a favorite I'd pick King of C-C-Cool and 7 Year Lich. But they're also beautiful and spot on to the television show! If I wasn't already a fan, I would be after this. Hope you guys enjoyed the mini spam :) thanks for reading!

Wet 'n Wild Pop Art Craze!

Boy. This collection sure has stirred up some craziness in the nail world! I don't know anyone who hasn't checked at least three stores for these limited edition pretties. Myself include *cough* checked 7 stores.... BUT I finally found them and I was not disappointed!

I have a few Wet 'n Wild polishes but not many from the Wild Shine (I just have their basic black) and they live up to their shiny name! Wow!

Del Sol Mini Haul + Review

For a recent birthday gift I received four polishes from Del Sol! The color change store. Every product in there changes colors with sunlight. They have everything from clothes, to hair accessories to NAIL POLISH. Nail polish that changes in the sun? Yeah. I know. I've always been a fan but never had many of them so I was glad to get these!

Barry M Greenberry + Comparisons

I am so excited to share this! Me being in the US, Barry M is not widely available. Some of my favorite nail bloggers are from the UK where they have Barry M and I hear soo many good things about this brand! From color selection to quality this brand seems to constantly deliver. Plus since January, stricter customs laws have been placed in the UK, so for now, my nail buddy can't send me any polish :(

BUT I GOT MY HANDS ON ONE ANYWAY! From the supplier Ninja Polish!!!! Can you tell I was a little excited when I found out they carry them? My heart almost stopped.

I only let myself have one, so I chose Greenberry from Barry M's Gelly line! 100% happy with my choice.

Ahhhhh, Greenberry is a super refreshing BRIGHT turquoise/aqua colored creme nail polish! It leans a little more green than blue in the pictures above. It is also a million times prettier! Pictures do not do it justice.

Everyone who has had the chance to buy these are correct. Formula is mind blowing. First coat was streaky but the second coat completely leveled everything out and made it opaque. Did I mention the color was to die for? And the gelly element of these polishes are not like the jellies we know (sheer and "squishy" looking) but they promise a high gel manicure like shine. And boyyyy do they deliver that! Without topcoat it was so. shiny. Couldn't believe it! I added top coat anyway as a general rule and to make it last longer. I am on my second day with no chips!

 I read in a blog somewhere that they thought China Glaze "Highlight of My Summer" was similar to Greenberry and I am happy to say there are no dupes here! Greenberry also reminded me somewhat of a brighter Turquoise and Caicos by Essie (jelly) but side by side they are not the same.

Soooo glad I have finally gotten a taste (not literally!) of what Barry M polishes are like. Now if custom laws could just let up so I could buy them ALL! Definitely pick these up if they are available where you are!
