Thermal Thanksgiving: Polished by KPT - Fall O You

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you are having an amazing time with your family and friends. I am thankful for each and every one of you that stop by and view and even comment on my posts. I read every single one and even though I am terrible at reply I love them all! 

Here's my simple look for today. I tried to keep the post short but who has a short post when discussing a thermal polish?

Just saying right now, I took about a million and one pictures (actually around 70..) of this gorgeous polish! So it is a little picture heavy. But how is that a bad thing when we're talkin about polish?!

Thermal Flowers

 First post of the New Year! Woo!

I love thermals. They give such an effortless umph to your manicure. It's like a free gradient/french tip in a bottle for you!

I managed to snag a few polishes from Polished by KPT in her end of the year sale. This beauty was one I had my eyes on for a while, Kelvin Bleu. It's a gorgeous polish that is a translucent light grey/blue color when warm and a deep blue almost blurple color when cold. It's also got a scattered holo finish which my lightbox wasn't bright enough to capture. Trust me it's gorgeous though!

Tips are cold, nails are warm. Props to those who capture thermals so well!

I was really aiming to stamp white over a thermal after seeing Natalie's gorgeous post here, but sadly I don't have an opaque white to stamp with! So I settled for some water decals from the Born Pretty Store. I think they sufficed well enough.

I also love water decals because they can give a complicated look in less than a minute. That's my type of nail art. What do you think?

Polished By KPT Thermal

Today I have another lovely thermal from the indie brand Polished By KPT! One that I have had my eye on for a whileeeee, and one day I was stalking my clock and waiting for her restock. Right when 7PM hit BOOM. That thing was in my cart and coming home to me! Hot Like Wasabi!

What drew me is its interesting name/color. Ever seen wasabi? The thermal in warm state looks pretty much exactly like it. So cool! (Even though I hate wasabi....whatttt?!)

Swatches below are three thin coats with one layer of NYC top coat over it. I supposed the color would be lighter layered over white if you wish to take that direction

Cold state is a lovely medium pea green. I apologize for my super wet hands. My hands are always really warm! 

And here's a photo in the warm state, which is a lighter shade of pea green. 

And transitioning!

Love love love these polishes, and even though it took three coats they dry very quick and don't feel thick on the nail at all. The formula is thin, but a good workable and buildable thin. These Indie makers will be the death of me I swear! Crazy how a majority of the time they are better than corporate brands!

Look at this picture I found on Google images, if you've never seen wasabi! As you can see the polish really does match! I just find that so darn cool.

Polished By KPT Thermal!

I am so excited to put these up! It's a thermal polish by the indie brand Polished By KPT and this is called Being In the Pink (holographic version). When warm it's a beautiful lighter shade of magenta, and when cold it turns into a deep grape colored purple.

 I'm so infatuated with this polish and I'm not ashamed! I can't decide if my favorite color is when warm or cold. 

All swatches are three thin coats with Glossy Glam top coat (which I have yet to share my thoughts on even after several manicures!)
