piCture pOlish - Cyan

Happy Friday!

I'm pretty excited to post this today!! My first piCture pOlish! Well, first one I'm posting. I actually have a few others I haven't posted about but I'll save those for another day.

Read on for more about Cyan!

Awww yeah. Look at this color! Cyan is a true cyan creme with scattered holo bits. I think the technical fancy term for the holographic parts is bijou but don't quote me on that. My swatch below is three coats with top coat. Two suffice but there was a little bit of VNL on me that I wanted to cover up. The formula is a tad thick but in a good way because it goes where you want it to and is definitely manageable.

This color is so so gorgeous and bright. Marta and the ladies at PP did an awesome job! I can't wait to break this color out more as the weather warms up and my skin stops looking so pale.

I immediately wanted to pair it with a bright pink so I broke out Zoya - Ali and used chevrons from Glam My Mani. I like how Ali isn't an opaque neon creme and it looks a little purple in some angles on top of Cyan.

You can read more about Marta's shade/inspiration here.

P.s Definitely had to look up piCture polish to see what letters were capitalized. Anyone know the significance of the CO being upper case?

Hope you enjoyed this simple look. I've done it before here and it seems like this may be one of my go to designs to spice up a creme manicure. My my, just looking back a few months ago my nail care has changed for the better!
